The IMIM program not only gave me academic and professional opportunities but also introduced me to an international network of friends and mentors who continue to inspire me.

One of the best things of IMIM is its internationality, not only on its European and transatlantic mobiliy, but also on the very enriching culturally cohort that IMIM has. In my case, I shared this wonderful experience with international students from 19 different countries, something that was truly enriching.

During the program, I also embraced my entrepreneurial side. I launched a fast-growing YouTube channel to share my journey through the Netherlands, Cambridge, and later, Oxford, offering guidance and inspiration to international students aiming to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Now, as a PhD student at the University of Oxford, I am combining my passions for science, innovation, and entrepreneurship. My research focuses on developing advanced engineered hydrogels and cell therapies for organ regeneration, a project that bridges bioengineering and clinical translation to address high-impact diseases.

IMIM was truly transformative—it offered the ideal mix of international experiences, academic excellence, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. The program shaped not only my career but also my approach to innovation, collaboration, and making an impact.”

“I graduated in Biotechnology from the Public University of Navarra (Spain), and I’ve always been passionate about science and its ability to solve global challenges. However, I also had a strong interest in entrepreneurship and a desire to explore different innovative fields of research. The International Master in Innovative Medicine was the perfect program to combine these passions, offering cutting-edge courses, a focus on innovation, and experiences at some of Europe’s most prestigious universities. IMIM gave me the opportunity to conduct research at leading institutions, starting in Groningen, where I worked on tissue engineering for skin and heart regeneration, and later at the University of Cambridge, where I delved into cardiac regeneration. These experiences not only expanded my technical skills but also reinforced my determination to pursue translational science with real-world impact.
